I am A. Bottcher, I started my business back as a Junior in high school in 2013, all from a little song called "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore. That song got me hooked on the vintage buzz and my career took off from there. I went on to go to college for film and photography, but selling vintage has always been the main passion.

I started selling exclusively on Depop and Ebay in 2015. Until 2024 while being able to branch out to markets and pop ups, along with my online apps. With a lot of dedication, curation, and drive I was able to find myself selling in an in-person store back in October 2025, and knew then and there that this was what I was meant to do in life. Becoming a Depop Top Seller in 2025; and also receiving praises in quality, pricing, curation, and more.

I created Gem City Vintage, with a key eye for fashion, sustainability, affordability and inclusivity in mind. Making sure that clothes were not branded or labeled for the person, but to keep clothes inclusive For Everyone, and Anyone; no matter age, weight, height, gender, etc. I believe that clothing is the best way to express one's personality, and I hope that my shop will bring community and a better shopping experience for all.
